Greetings Friends!
Beginning next Tuesday, you’re invited to explore The Art (and Science) of Change. I’m calling the course Perennial Habits since we’ll be focusing on how to make lasting change and on integrating timeless practices (e.g., contemplation, journaling, gratitude, etc.) into modern life.

The Art (and Science) of Change
Several wisdom traditions stress the notion of “turning words into works.” Epictetus urged his students not to talk about their philosophy but to — “Embody it.” There are good reasons for these types of quotes and cliches, like “it is easier said than done,” to be shared today. They are true. They were true thousands of years ago. And they will be true thousands of years in the future.
The bottom line is — change is hard.
As Einstein pointed out,
“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.”
Learning to live — requires us to learn how to change. Although ancient practices (and wisdom) can help us to live our highest good. Integrating these practices into daily is often highly challenging because it requires a new level of thinking.
